(More customer reviews)This book contains many healthy recipes that follow Gillian McKeith's formula for well-being. However these will probably not be recipes that the younger members of a family with `picky' appetites will look forward to; i.e. fruit salad with warm pear sauce, eggplant and chick pea tagine. You will have more than 150 recipes of a different sort to serve though.
Gillian's guidelines contain the philosophy: "her way or the highway". She describes her guidelines, her viewpoint and gives several checklists to get you organized if you desire to try her ideas. The recipes include; juices and smoothies, breakfasts, soups, salads and lunch box meals, main meals, snacks, treats, stocks, sauces and dressings. There are not many pictures of the completed recipes themselves.
This would be good for those who want to try a formula for healthy eating.
