(More customer reviews)This book is the best food guide EVER. I use it everyday before I cook or after I eat to read of the nutritional benefits of my meal. The way the information is introduced is what makes it so great. First, it is catagorized: Fruits, vegetabls, chicken fish seafood, Grains and beans, Herbs and Spices, and Nuts Seeds and Oils. When you find the food you are interested in the breakdown is wonderful. On the the left page it gives the information. First a description of the benefits, then a bulleted list of benefits and then the best preparation to get the most out of the food. The in the side column it has a "did you know" fact and breakdown of major nutrients. On the right page it then gives a great recipe featuring this food Item. I found this book at T.J. Maxx for $4.99 and now coming on Amazon to buy it as a gift for full price! A must have!
